So as i mentioned in my last post, we have arrived to Jeffreys Bay where i will reside for the next three months.  The town is gorgeous and the people are so nice.  There are 12 girls per cabin and we occupy three cabins and the boys have one to themselves at a base called USCA.  Our leaders stay off base either in a hotel, or a house near by.  The beach is 20 yards from our base and the town in right around the corner.  This morning we did a scavenger hunt trying to get to know the town better, i was on a team with Andrew, Faith, and Leah.  We ended up winning the contest and they bought us a milkshake at the Sunflower, which is a local coffee shop.  Leah’s camera got stolen during our scavenger hunt when she left it on the counter at the gas station and the people behind the counter took it, but acted like they had no idea what we were talking about.  I feel horrible for her, but it was an eye opening experience for us to keep our stuff on us at all times and safe in our cabins locked up.  We are still trying to get used to using Rand, instead of the U.S. dollar and then converting back to determine how much money we are actually spending.  This area is very different from any other mission trip i have been on and i am so blessed that i was able to raise all the money needed to send me here.  I thank God for that everyday and all the people who are still supporting me in prayer.  I will be blogging weekly with detailed updates of what we are doing for ministry and classes.  I think we are starting that in the next couple of weeks, so please pray for my team and our leaders that they will place everyone in a ministry where God will fully use them.  Thank you again for everything, i would not be here if it weren’t for you!!  I love you all very much and hope to hear from you soon…i love getting emails or posts from people back home since i already miss everyone :0)
