So this past weekend I was able to go to Myrtle Beach with my boyfriend and his family. His aunt has a time share there, so we stayed in a really nice resort near the beach. It was such a beautiful weekend. We were able to relax from school and really meditate on life. It was such an amazing weekend. While we were there, I took a lot of time to read the Bible (I love reading the Bible in God’s creation, BEST ever). So I was reading through Exodus and I was at the part where God is telling the Israelites how to build the tabernacle and alter and such and it amazed me how detailed God was with all the measurement and materials needed to build this stuff for His glory. The more i thought about it, the more relaxed i became. I realized that if God was this concerned about a building, then He must really be concerned with my personal life. And i know i have known this forever, but it hit me that God has the perfect plan laid out for my life. And if i just take the time to listen, like Moses did, then God will reveal it to me in time. These life lessons that all christians seem to know, only become real to me when i actually read examples of it in the Bible and see how it actually works in action. I know it’s a little weird, but i just wanted to share that information with everyone. Especially when going on this long trip, we are all worried about how to raise the money, what we will need over there, will we be safe, and so many other worries. But in reality, if we jsut giv everything up to God and let it be in His hands, then we have absolutely nothing to worry about. He has a plan for each of us going on this trip and He will reveal it to everyone when the time is right. So just remember that God has a plan and if we take the time to stop looking at ourselves for help and turn to God, than He will be faithful and lead us where we need to go, just as He did with the Israelites!!
